The journey to self love, wellness and health is not 1 size fits all just like we as people are not a 1 size fits all. The 1st step in this journey is loving yourself the way you are right now and acknowledging that you are your own unique and beautiful being, and to be open to find that health and wellness may look different for you than it does for someone else. Whether you need help with accountability, nutrition, healing or creating an active lifestyle that does not feel impossible, I am here to help peel back some of the layers of conditioning and assist you in fine tuning your intuitive tools that you already have within you. I want to empower you to ascend into your most authentic and healthy self.

My Journey....

I am very excited to share that this year (2018) I will be embarking on the journey to becoming an Ayurvedic Health Advisor and Yoga Teacher through the Center of Ayurveda and Yoga Study, recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and Yoga Alliance. I have always felt that health is more than physiological and to really break through and ASCEND to our full potential of wellness we should acknowledge our mental health, spiritual well being along with our nutrition and lifestyle.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach (ACE) and hold a degree in Community Health, working in the field for over 8 years. I am confident that my active and healthy lifestyle has not only made me feel energized and youthful, but has also given my self confidence a huge boost and has helped me reach goals that I never knew I was capable of reaching. Because I suffered from asthma and allergies throughout my whole childhood I studied and incorporated nutritional healing into my own lifestyle since I was a teen. This past Winter (2018) I most recently completed an online training with writer, health coach and nutrition addict Ross Bridgeford on the power of an alkaline food based diet and how through nourishing the body you will not only gain more energy but you can rid it from excess weight, inflammation, candida, arthritis, chronic fatigue, and more. Also this year I received continuing education training/certificate on the "Professional" track of the Food As Medicine Symposium at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR.

This cleanse is an intro to the Ayurvedic lifestyle.

Why personal training or health coaching?

Today we know that life comes with a lot of demands, stress and challenges. I am very aware that sometimes the hardest endeavor is meeting your own health needs. A healthy lifestyle does now look the same for everyone, and working one-on-one with someone provides tailored and individualized support and accountability to step out of some old, non-serving grooves or habits and forge the path to a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. I offer strength and value based support to help individuals conquer goals while building self-efficacy and their own intrinsic value system and internal motivation.

1-ON-1 SESSIONS

The value of 1-on-1 sessions for personal training and health coaching is the opportunity to set and meet goals that are unique to ones personal path and needs, while also getting the skills and knowledge to understand fitness and nutrition independently vs. dependently. I want to create a safe and trusting relationship with my clients so that they can be comfortable and free to show their strengths along with their weaknesses. Through one-on-one support clients get to know their bodies on a deeper level, and can start to feel confident with the knowledge and experience they gain through getting my support to make fitness part of their lifestyle.

SMALL GROUP SESSIONS

Small group sessions can be a unique way to get to know oneself as part of community. It is a way to build more relationships and share in the challenges and successes while motivating and holding each other accountable.
